"Trust in Allah: Death and Sustenance Are in His Hands"
Death follows a person, and no one can escape it.
Just as death seeks you, similarly, your livelihood (rizq) seeks you.
A person will live as long as their sustenance reaches them.
But the question is: Why does a Muslim worry so much about their livelihood?
A Muslim's tawakkul (trust) is solely placed in Allah.
The fears that arise, the thoughts that disturb the mind—"What will happen tomorrow? How will I get married? How will I manage expenses?"—all of these come from Shaytan.
Muslims should be clear in their minds that these worries are created by Shaytan, whose aim is to weaken our resolve.
We must place our trust in Allah and remember that He is the one who decides our sustenance and future.
Rizq (sustenance) and Trust in Allah:
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
"Whoever places their trust in Allah, Allah will fulfill their needs, just as a bird leaves in the morning with an empty stomach and returns in the evening with a full stomach." (Tirmidhi)
Death and Rizq (Sustenance) Determination:
Allah says:
"No one will die until their appointed time has come."
(Surah Aal-E-Imran, 3:145)
This verse tells us that death happens at a fixed time, which is decided by Allah. No one can die even a moment earlier or later than the time Allah has planned.
